Have any of you tried these "Quick Weight Loss" diets or "Detox" programs which have the added side effect of weight loss? This is something I don't think I would EVER consider doing because it doesn't sound safe (ie. 30 pounds in 30 days???). I'm sure the more I learn about nutrition, the clearer my perspective will become. But for now, these types of programs sound like starvation or fasting diets with just enough calories to keep your body going, fueled by hyped marketing "cleansing and detox" claims with no hard research to back them up.
